Sign up with your email

We'll email you a 6-digit code. No password needed.

Add your readers and have them log in

Choose the school, division, and display name for your kid, and they'll get a unique login code. Tip: design a custom bookmark with your kid and then print it out. They can use the QR code for quick login.

Share reading progress

Your kid chooses which books they want to read or are already reading, and updates their progress in those books over time. You and their team can follow along, and battles and games adjust to only ask about what they've actually read. No spoilers!

Every reader gets a printable bookmark with a QR code that signs them straight in. Kids pick the words, colors, Rosie and stickers. Parents can design it with them, then print it out for their first sign-in. Tap one to see the back.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes, OBOB.DOG and the Dog Eared Book Club are free to all kids participating in OBOB. Parents who are able are encouraged to contribute an appropriate amount to support the development and operations of OBOB.DOG.

What about my kid's privacy?

We take privacy seriously, especially for kids. Parents control the account, and we only collect what's needed — a display name and reading progress. Read our privacy policy and terms.

Does my kid need their own email?

Nope. Only parents need an email to create their account. Kids sign in with a login code tied to the account you create for them. No email or password needed.

Can my kid use it for audiobooks?

Yes! Readers can bookmark print books, audiobooks, or switch between them. Progress is kept by chapter so it works across all formats.
